Converso Corti

Our films: the adventures and stories of Converso.

In the digital age, we do things by hand.

The Project

Converso Corti is Converso's audiovisual lab. We create short films that tell the story of translation and interpretation with irony, lightness and experimentation. Every film starts from a simple question: "Is this better or that?"

No impersonal stock footage: we prefer a recognizable, essential and authentic style.

Alongside our fiction shorts, we also document Converso's real work: events, conferences, fairs and meetings where we share knowledge, present technologies born from our research, and bring innovation to the field of interpretation and digital language solutions.

We organize screenings and events where our work and our interpreters move from behind the scenes and take center stage.

Nathan De Paz Habib

Director

Nathan De Paz Habib

Nathan De Paz Habib is a director born in Milan. He has made several short films screened at festivals and events in Italy and abroad, and has worked as an assistant director on Italian and international film productions. After working on the TV show Che Tempo Che Fa, he took part in the Ficclab workshop at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión (EICTV) in Cuba. He curates the Mexico e Briciole programme, the independent cinema showcase at Cinema Mexico in Milan, dedicated to discovering and promoting new filmmakers.

For Converso, he translates into cinema the work, research and technologies related to interpretation and linguistic innovation, turning professional content into stories.

Screenings & Events

We organize screening nights where the shorts come to life. With interpreters present, discussions, and that film club atmosphere we love so much.
