Freelance AV Technician
Converso is a system integrator that designs and delivers technical and digital solutions for multilingual and digital events: from audio/video management to real-time content distribution, including remote interpreting services, AI translation, and live accessibility. If you are a freelance technician with audio/video and networking skills, you can apply to join our collaborator network. You will be contacted and involved in events based on operational needs and your availability.
What you will do
- Setup and configuration of audio/video systems and IP networks at event venues
- Live operational support during multilingual events
- Testing and validation of audio/video streams and streaming services
- Integration and support for translation and subtitle delivery via web app
- Collaboration with development teams to optimise technical workflows
Ideal profile
- Basic competence in IT, audio/video, and networking technologies
- Strong interest in digital technologies and integrated solutions (live & cloud)
- Curiosity about AI platforms applied to events and interpreting
- Proactivity, hands-on attitude, and problem-solving orientation
- Availability to work both at the hub and at external event venues
- You don't need to be an expert in every protocol or tool (e.g. Dante, NDI, SRT, audio mixers): what matters most to us is a technical mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn
