The Challenge

Year-end is a pivotal moment for one of the world's largest food multinationals. It is the time when leadership shares results and charts the course for the future. However, when the corporate "family" is scattered across 9 different nations, communication logistics become a formidable obstacle.

The challenge was not merely technical, but cultural: ensuring that every single employee—from the HQ manager to the factory worker overseas—could follow the Townhall in their native language, in real-time, and without filters. Relying on standard video conferencing platforms would have introduced stability risks and chaotic audio channel management for such a vast audience. They needed a broadcast-grade solution: robust, seamless, and accessible with a single click.

The Solution

Converso implemented a hybrid architecture entirely managed from the RSI Hub in Milan, transforming a complex meeting into a smooth, television-like experience.

RSI Hub (Milan)

The operation's beating heart was our Hub in the Design District. While the event took place physically at the client's headquarters, the interpreters worked from our ISO soundproof booths in Milan. This ensured impeccable audio quality, isolated from venue background noise, and constant technical supervision to monitor the 10 outgoing audio streams (1 floor + 9 languages).

Centralized Multi-language Streaming

Instead of managing multiple calls or separate links, we produced a single video stream synchronized with 10 distinct audio tracks. Thanks to our Remote Production technology, we provided the client with a multi-language player (embeddable via iFrame) integrated directly into the event page. Remote employees simply had to select their flag to hear the CEO speak their language.

Web App (User Experience)

For the in-person audience, we eliminated the need to distribute hundreds of physical receivers (and the associated logistical and hygiene burdens). We deployed the Converso Web App: employees scanned a QR code projected in the hall and used their own smartphones (BYOD) and headphones to access the translation. A sustainable solution that eliminated the use of plastic and disposable batteries.

The Results

The technical complexity became invisible to the eyes (and ears) of the participants. The multinational reached 100% of its workforce with a clear, unified message. Employees appreciated the ability to consume content in their native language, drastically increasing attention spans and a sense of belonging. No technical glitches, no delays: just human connection, amplified by managed RSI technology.

Expert Tip

For global corporate events, embedding multi-language streaming directly into the company Intranet lowers access barriers and significantly boosts remote employee engagement.
